R.i.p.e. has "Labour of Love" for charity
R.I.P.E. is proud to announce that they have been added to the Charity CD, "Labour of Love" due to be released later this quarter on 34 West Records. The proceeds from the CD will be used to benefit the American Cancer Society, and Ricky Parent, drummer for the Chicago rock band, Enuff Z'nuff, who underwent operations and cancer treatments for prostate cancer at New York's Sloan Kettering Medical Center.
"We are not only pleased that we have been chosen as an inclusion to this endeavor" R.I.P.E manager Tom Feeley noted, "we are honored to have been inserted in between such notables as Heaven and Earth, with many iconic musicians and Jeff Pilson. It should be noted that Ricky used to play with Jeff in the band "War and Peace", and I used to manage Ricky in Enuff Z'nuff. So there is very much a family thing here to help him out".
All of us in R.i.p.e. want to thank those involved in the production of this CD for allowing us to contribute to this cause. For further information, please visit www.34west.net.
