Hey everyone -
Dan and me and the rest of the band have been helping out on Goyband, an indie feature film that features Leia, Jess and me as signing voices, and lots of RIPE music.
Right now, I am with Dan and the director of Goyband (Chris Grimm)on a comfy couch in Minneapolis, working with the Goyband post sound team Neverwas & Co . They rock.
Minneapolis is a great city - it feels like Tribeca (but a little colder). Food is great - the coffee can make you a convert (so much for the caffeine free lifestyle I was trying back in NYC), and the people are just great.
The studio is this cozy sub-basement in this grand old loft building near Sex World, the porn emporium (I get to go to all the nicest places...)
It's day two and things are going so well - Today we are getting takeout Ruebens for lunch from this great place called Monte Carlo...and tons of coffee from Bicycle Shop. It will be a late night, but there is nothing better than a late night full of things you love to do. It's like cheating on real life.
